Supportive housing vs. permanent supportive housing:
Sometimes these are used as synonyms, but sometimes they are used to mean different things. You may have to ask to clarify which meaning is being used.
People often conflate Housing First and permanent supportive housing. They aren’t the same thing! PSH can operate under a Housing First model, but it does not have to. In practice, many PSH programs that claim to use a Housing First framework do not operate with full fidelity to Housing First principles.
